Start mining

No account needed: point your miner at a Qbit Pool endpoint with your payout address as the username, and payouts settle to that address automatically.

Prefer to rent hashrate instead? See Qbit community projects that allow you to permissionlessly mine QBT using BTC here.

  1. Connect to a Stratum endpoint

    Choose the port that matches your miner and copy its stratum URL. Every port uses the same username format and password x; the port determines the default difficulty behavior.

    Advanced difficulty password

    Most miners should use password x. Use d=<difficulty> to request a starting difficulty and md=<difficulty> to set a minimum difficulty floor; they can be written in either order, and each port clamps requests to its own bounds. On the high-diff port, requests below 500,000 are clamped up to 500,000.

    d=1000000
    Start at difficulty 1,000,000.
    md=500000
    Never drop below difficulty 500,000.
    d=1000000,md=500000
    Both, combined.
    No mining hardware? Rent hashrate

    Use KissMyHash to rent Qbit hashrate without setting up mining hardware — it handles the connection details. Open KissMyHash rentals.

  2. Set your username and password

    The username is <qbit payout address>[.<worker>] — your Qbit mainnet payout address, plus an optional worker name after a dot (for example qb1….rig1). The password is always x.

    Payouts go straight to that address, so it must be a qb1 address for Qbit mainnet. If the address is wrong, submitted shares cannot be recovered.

    Paste the username exactly as your miner will use it. The payout address before the first dot is validated for Qbit mainnet.

    Enter a qb1 Qbit mainnet address to enable the connect check.

  3. Watch your stats

    Once your miner submits shares, your address appears on the pool. Open your miner page any time — no login, just your payout address.
