Qbit Pool

About Qbit Pool

Qbit Pool is a hosted Qbit mining pool running PRISM, open-source Qbit pool software with TIDES-style accounting inspired by OCEAN.

  • No account needed

Copy the endpoint, use a qb1 payout address as your username, and point hash at the pool.

  • Non-custodial direct payouts

Automated OP_CTV payouts every block with public payout records.

  • Verifiable settlement evidence

Every settled block publishes content-addressed audit evidence, so you can recompute the reward split yourself.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The short version of how the pool, its accounting, and its payouts work.

What software does the pool run?
Qbit Pool runs the open-source PRISM pool software. The implementation lives in qbit-mining-bootstrap.
What is Qbit?
Qbit is the post-quantum UTXO chain this pool settles on. Mainnet payout addresses begin with qb1 and testnet4 addresses with tq1. See qbit.org.
How is PRISM related to TIDES?
PRISM uses TIDES-style accounting: accepted shares enter one ordered ledger. In normal ready mode, each block job freezes a window at issue time over the newest shares whose cumulative difficulty weight reaches 8× that job's Qbit permissionless-lane network difficulty. The live dashboard uses current difficulty, so it is a prospective estimate, not a reconstruction of a past payout. A startup collection job instead pays its solver; its collected ledger shares enter the next ready-mode block window. The wall-clock span varies with the pool's share of permissionless hashrate and share cadence. It is about 10 minutes only when the pool supplies all permissionless lane hashrate; it is not a fixed 5-minute or 3-hour window. TIDES was documented by OCEAN; PRISM is independent Qbit pool software with Qbit-specific settlement and audit rules. See OCEAN TIDES.
What is OP_CTV?
OP_CTV is a covenant-style opcode used by PRISM when large payout sets route through committed fanout transactions. Some blocks can settle directly from coinbase instead.
How do pool rewards work?
The dashboard reports difficulty-weighted share windows, next-block estimates, earnings, fees, carry-forward balances, and payout state from the public API. Values that are not exposed are shown as unavailable.
How are payouts displayed?
The dashboard displays rewards, balances, fees, and payouts in QBT. PRISM may use integer base units internally, but miners see the 8-decimal QBT amount.
Which Qbit network does this pool serve?
Both Qbit mainnet and testnet4 — switch networks from the toggle in the pool header. Use a payout address that matches the selected network (qb1 for mainnet, tq1 for testnet4); addresses from another Qbit network are blocked before the connect check.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no dashboard accounts and no KYC. Your Stratum username is your payout address plus an optional worker suffix, and your stats page is opened by that address.

No account needed — your payout address is your Stratum username, and settlement pays that address directly.
